must have been short on time that morning
a house with an interesting breakfast nook in Lincoln Park (technically Meaux Park, which is what Google Maps calls the western half of Lincoln Park)
Brown Deer Park, looking across the pond - needs a tap or two from the Perspective Fairy's wand
On many an Easter I received a pencil or some other kind of art implement in my basket. It must have worked!
Lamp Posts - a nifty minimalist picture. I like the rotated shapes and "felt perspective." And do you dare draw verticals with horizontal lines? Don't think I could.
ReplyDeleteChimney Bird - Great memory drawing of the bird. One drawing theory is that you should look at your subject more than your paper. I never bought into that entirely. After all, when you're done, all you have is your paper. That's the thing you are creating. But every drawing is to some degree a memory drawing, isn't it?
Lincoln Park House - My all time so far favorite of your drawings. All tones, from black to white, are there, shade and bright sunlight. Plus an interesting subject. Another framable.
Brown Deer Park House - I like your use of the "tree in front" for depth. Both park houses--close one eye and it becomes 3-d.
