Great chimney. Nice handling of the masonry in light and shade. And, ah, the climbing spikes on the high line pole--I remember them as a kid. None here. Drawing in a notebook is recording a history of your own time and place.
I like the composition of roofs and gables pic. Good tonal values. I'd like to see this one finished more--to know more of the bottom. That is a wish, not a suggestion. I find that when I go back after a few days and start tweaking a picture, it usually lessons it, not improves it. Ruins the spontaneity and directness.
