These are my copies of framed art from the walls of Pizza Hut. I thought they were neat abstract art prints. I especially liked the colors. It took me a few minutes to realize what I was looking at. Then I liked them even more. So I drew them on a napkin and went home and made my own versions. I'm inspired enough to do a few more.
The formula seems easy enough. Draw a very simplified version of something, using only three colors and thick black "stained-glass" lines. Then crop the thing into a square, being sure to have the form overlap the edges of the frame. Presto! Instant Abstractions.
I used acrylic craft paints. Crayolas will do, or whatever else you have.
