paper test


Just testing out the broadstrokes on a smooth paper - this is printer paper. It's good, I might have to pursue this option in the future.

  1. Ah, smooth paper. You might like to try a pad of "Strathmore, Bristol-smooth," Hobby Lobby. It's the old "Bristol Board," often used for ink. E.W. Watson talks about "Clay-Coated Paper." I never found any, other than discards from print shops stashed as packing. It's super smooth. The "slicks," as printers call magazines printed on it.

    This is an interesting test. I like the result. You darks seem darker. I like that
