The bottom one was done with my new Father's Day "PRO-Touch II" .09, 2B. Found out later there was still an HB in the chamber. No wonder I couldn't get black. Didn't feel very "pro." I went over it later with the 2B and left some HB as as a sample. The picture is supposed to be a patch of late afternoon light through the woods. All that HB-ing and 2B-ing seems to have wrinkled the paper.
Top pic--this is supposed to be twilight shadows on the background woods. But I just ended up with more ghost trees.
bottom - the window effect is wonderful. the hb imposter really just gave it a crepuscular look - very nice. top - ah, ghost trees. my eye sees much detail in the tree trunk, however. what a good trick! and a good day!
