Yours seems set at a greater contrast than mine. My own drawing book paper is slightly beige, so I try to maintain that. But I do think you are using whiter paper--that Bristol Board or whatever it is. Is that right?
The top one is very much Sumi-e to my eye. Subtly and boldly defined all at once. Might they be peonies?
The leafy branch--a thing to make Linaeus proud. Wonderful definition and tones. Frame it.
Beer bottle and cap. My favorite of this series. But then I saw it aborning. I like the light on the inner edge of the cap.
Arched Doorway--nice feel for architectural detail. Love the shadows--best seen at a distance or through a squint. Do you squint to determine tones before you draw?
